4/11/2017 0 Comments Nursery and update on pregnancyToday I had my weekly doctors Appointment and found out that I'm 75% effaced. She could also feel his head very low as soon as she checked. She said that we could possibly expect our little boy this week! We are beyond excited to meet him and are praying for a safe and healthy delivery. The nursery is finally complete and I will probably keep adding to it throughout. I have a crazy obsession with neutral colors, like grey and white. My favorite item has to be the glider my parents purchased at babies r' us. I will most likely end up using it in our bedroom since the baby will be in our room for a while. It has 5 different speeds to rock the baby as well as the sound of being in the womb and the twinkle twinkle little star melody. I wish I had made this purchase with my other kids, it definitely would have been a life saver. The next blog post will hopefully be about my hospital and labor experience and a lot of pictures of our new addition :) Crib: Babies R' Us $400
changing table: Babies R'Us $200 glider: Babies R'Us $200 chair: home goods $150 curtains: home goods $25 rug: Home Depot $80 throw pillow: Burlington $10 wall decor: TJ Max $8 each

4/9/2017 0 Comments Baby hospital bag listThis weekend has been oh so busy and it's totally not in the way you would imagine. No, I didn't go anywhere, I was home the entire time. The nesting has officially begun and when I say I cleaned every inch of my house, I mean every single inch. So that brings me to this blog post that I was supposed to post 2 days ago. Below you will see what exactly I'm packing in the baby bag as well as a list. This little boy could be here any day now and I am beyond ready. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow,so I'm hoping that I've started to dilate since I've been having contractions all week. Moving any part of my body is so extremely painful. There have been multiple occasions where I thought my water broke but nope it was just the baby pushing on my bladder and you know the rest. Nausea has fully come back but that will not stop me from eating and making sure this baby is as chubby as possible.
The nursery is almost complete and I will post as soon as we finish little details. I am beyond anxious as well as nervous as the day approaches. How will my 2 boys react to another brother? Will my 2 year old get jealous? Will I get postpartum depression this time? Who will he look like? Will he have colic like my other boys did? All these questions that I know don't even matter as long as he is strong and healthy. I will keep you guys updated on how my appointment goes. Feel free to reach out with any questions or comments.
