3/22/2018 0 Comments You Are MomDear moms out there, yes, you reading this. You’re probably walking around like a zombie today and well, every day since that little blessing(s) arrived. Your nails are most likely not done and let’s not get started on your not so shaved legs. Your hair is tied back in the messiest bun and your eyebrows are almost connecting. You turn the t.v. on and all you see is these perfect women with perfect bodies. You look at your stretch marks and wish you could make them disappear. You look at your stomach that once used to be flat and wish you didn’t eat that piece of chocolate your kids left on the table. You look in the mirror and wish you had that glowing skin that you see all over social media.
STOP!! You my dear are beyond perfect. Your nails aren't done because you were too busy feeding your kids. Your hair is a mess because you haven't had time to wash it but your kids are bathed. Your eyebrows are almost connecting because you chose to spend time with your kids instead of doing them. Your legs aren’t shaved because every time you go to the bathroom your kids are standing on the other side of the door asking for mommy. Instead of letting them wait ,you open the door to see what they need. Your stretch marks are marks of strength because you carried those babies for 9 months and allowed your body to create another human being. Your not so flat stomach is from all the left overs you eat after you feed your kids and from anything you can grab in the fridge because you’re too busy raising these amazing humans. You see all these perfect looking women on Facebook, Instagram, magazines, and t.v but half of what you see is not real. There’s so much Photoshop, editing, and unhappiness behind those photographs. They might be wishing they had your life and longing to have those stretch marks in order to have kids. Your kids see you as their safe place. Your home would not feel like home without you. They would not be here without you. You are amazing and beautiful. You are perfect. You are MOM.
